It is with great sadness we have to announce that Doug Burkhill passed away at home on Friday 31st May. As everyone knows Doug was a member of the club for many years, becoming a life member in 1988 in honour of his long service in a variety of roles including Director and President. I think we can safely speak for all our members young and old in sending our sincerest condolences to Doug’s family. Doug’s funeral will be held on Thursday 13th June at 11:15am at Hutcliffe Wood, then after everyone is welcome back to MBC to remember Doug and celebrate his life with his family and friends (from approx 12 noon).
