We are waiting to bid you all a warm welcome back tonight as we open the doors for the first time at 7pm. In addition to the post we published last time we have a few updated bits of information for you. But first, for all our members who have been in touch to inform us they won’t be in just yet because of sheltering and isolating purposes, we want to say thank you for being valued members of the MBC community, take care, and we hope to see you just as soon as possible.

Update 1: MBC can now take card payment, including contactless!! This arrived yesterday afternoon, so bear with us while we get used to the operation of it. If you are paying by card we will bring the machine to you, please note we will not however be offering cashback services.

Update 2: Please enter the club and sign in / sanitise hands upon entry. There is a table in front of the doors with the signing in book, and sanitiser. Please stand in the designated area to do this:

Update 3: When you are ordering, please order from the designated area in front of the bar, this is for everybody’s safety and help us control distancing.

Update 4: For outside drinking, we kindly ask members to order their drinks at the bar in the designated area. We will then take your drinks into the conservatory where we’ll put your drinks on the table near the door, and inform you to come and collect them from there. We will come and collect your empty glasses from where you are sat as previously communicated.

Update 5: For Everyone’s safety, please observe all floor markings including directional arrows to guide you. Gent’s, take note of the snooker room directions for toilet access, and remember snooker is not to be played at this time but is under constant review.

Update 6: Please note there are notices and hand sanitiser points at various places through out the club, please feel free to use when you need to.
