On The Right Track!

Fancy your five minutes of fame?

We have been contacted by a travel quiz show called “På spåret” (“On the right track”) broadcast on Swedish National Television.

“På spåret” is Sweden’s most popular broadcast TV show with approximately a quarter of the Swedish population watching every episode!

They are sending a team to Sheffield to do a segment about the city, and would love to include a piece about bowls. They found us through the Website and will be visiting to film us playing for an hour or so on Friday 31st May at approximately 6pm.

With our 150th Anniversary looming, we have secured any footage taken as a memento and keepsake to help document this. With this in mind we’d like as many as possible of all our members, bowlers or otherwise, to attend and join in the fun! Bring your families, wear your club shirts if you like, it’s up to you.

Let’s get this right and we can spotlight both the club we’re proud of, it’s history, and also spotlight the sport we love at the same time!
