We hope that you and your families are all enjoying your Christmas break!
Some news for you regarding the subscriptions for 2026.
Footfall and income was again down slightly during 2025, and these schemes have been proposed by the Directors, and agreed at the AGM to help secure, and build on our recent successes.
**Please note** that your 2026 membership subscriptions will be due on January 1st. As passed at the AGM, please see details of the new membership subscription prices in the attached image and on notice boards in the Club.
Membership fees have remained as per last year. Due to the successful implementation of this scheme over the last couple of years, there will once again be a £10 discount to members and shareholder members paying in January, and a £5 discount to those paying in February. The £10 joining fee for new members has once again been waived.
This has all been approved at the November AGM again, to give a little back to existing members and hopefully attract new members too. Also approved by the AGM again, to help attract new members, any new full members recruited before the 31st March 2026 will receive their membership for half price, along with the member proposing them.
Remember our members are our chief sales people and recruiters. If you might know anyone interested in joining please let them, and also all your clubmates know about the discounted membership fees and discount for for early payment.
Please remember that subscription payment by instalments may be available by request, as per Bye Law 2 (A copy of the Bye Laws is available in the club and on the website).

After a suggestion raised by the membership at the AGM last week, from this Friday we will be opening the bar from 4pm on Fridays. So if an early bar start to the weekend sounds tempting, please come along and join us! All the best.
Come along and support the 2025 Bowls Section Presentation Night.
It’s been another successful season so far both for our teams and individual members so come along and help celebrating these wonderful achievements.
There will also be a presentation buffet, and following the presentation there will be a Quiz hosted by Phil ‘God Bowl’ Dunn and the usual extra chances to try and round the night off with winning some more dosh!
