Meersbrook Bowling Club is committed to the safeguarding and protection of all its members, guests and visitors. With this in mind, we have safeguarding officers that have completed the BCGBA and Bowls Development Alliance Safeguarding in Bowls “Time to Listen” course and are registered Safeguarding Officers through BCGBA.
Club Welfare Officer
The first point of contact for staff, members, volunteers, children and parents for any issue concerning the safeguarding of children and adults at risk, poor practice, and potential or alleged abuse. Whilst all matters raised will be treated in full confidence, this role is to ensure that all incidents and concerns are dealt with in accordance with policy guidelines.
